This is about the AlphaGo documentary, showing how the ancient Chinese game of Go and the Artificial Intelligence collided with a purpose — to teach us about humanity.
It was today, October 30, 2020, when I first watch this movie and I can’t believe that this happened 4 years ago. I wonder now how far the Artificial Intelligence has improved and developed all this time. This is the coolest thing I watched so far and it makes me feel like butterfly in my stomach.
So first, what is Go?
Ever wondered how YouTube suggests videos for you?
As I browse my YouTube homepage, I find these recommended videos relevant as it helped me discover more of the videos I love, especially those channels I subscribed. As you can see, I am a fan of Red Velvet and TWICE but YouTube also suggested songs from other KPOP group like EXO. Also, I am a big fan of Dr. Reina Reyes, the Filipina who proved Einstein right. You may know more of her here. 😄
On the other hand, I realized that these recommended videos were not only from those channels that I subscribed to but also from those channels that I recently or mostly watched. YouTube takes into account our watch and search history (if enabled), as well as our country and time of the day too! Amazing isn’t it? …

In this blog, I’ll be sharing with you how to explore and visualize data using Python, particularly the insurance data that were given in the workshop. 😄
Without further ado let’s get down the steps!
Our activity in FTW DS Workshop last Saturday was to create our quiz project and expand it. Then, we should add the following features:
1.Print last 10(x) players and their scores
2.Implement CRUD(add/delete save to storage/file) for questions
Why do we need to have sufficient knowledge of Statistics? What concepts in Statistics are useful in Data Science?
Data Science provides meaningful information based on large amount of data a.k.a. as big data. It is a combination of various tools, algorithms and machine learning principles in knowing what lies behind the raw data. Thus, this is where Statistics comes in. Having a sufficient knowledge of Statistics helps us use the proper methods of collecting, analyzing, and presenting data effectively. Finally, it allows us to understand the data more deeply.
The fundamental concepts in Statistics that are useful in Data Science are probability distribution, statistical significance, hypothesis testing and regression. Looking forward to learn more of these on the 7th Day of our FTW Workshop! …
Are you looking for a code in creating a quiz using Python? Congrats! You are on the right page. 😄
Today, I am going to share with you a quiz I created using Python. Take note that I will be using two notebooks: Colaboratory and Spyder.
Let’s get started!
Let me show you the result of my quiz.
Hi! Welcome to my blog.
Today, I am going to share with you some of the free tools which you could use to run a program! Are you excited?
What is Colaboratory?
It allows you to write and execute Python in your browser.
What makes it special?
It has no configuration required, has free access to GPUs and has easy sharing!
Let’s try coding!
Is it true that an opportunity knocks only once?
Let me share with you how did I got here.
It was September 18, 2019 when I first got interested in becoming an FTW Foundation Scholar. I am glad that I have made it to the final step of the application process which is the face-to-face presentation & interviews. Though I was not selected to receive the scholarship at that time, that journey is something I am proud of.
Fast forward: June 8, 2020
